Meteopolis
If you like design-led weather apps but want something different, Meteopolis is built around your own city: a living miniature of the place you live, drawn in one of 45 art styles, under its real weather. CARROT is built around a talking AI personality, and (Not Boring) Weather around a 3D, game-like interface.

Where Meteopolis is different
- It's about a place, not a mascot. The scene is your skyline with its landmarks, not a generic background.
- The style is the whole app. Switching from Neon to Crochet changes the fonts, icons, cards and widgets, not just a color.
- It's made to share. One tap turns today's city into a story poster or postcard.
When to pick something else
If you want minute-by-minute rain radar maps, multiple data sources to compare, or a weather robot that roasts you, the other two are excellent at those things. Plenty of people keep two weather apps: one for the radar, one for the home screen.
Try it side by side
- Download Meteopolis (free) and add your city.
- Put its widget next to your current one for a week.
- Keep the one you look forward to seeing.
